MINISTRIES: Now let’s turn our focus to Youth Ministry, the disciple-making of teenagers and young adults. Here are some words from our Youth Minister, John Pryor to get us started:
Lord, thank you for being our Father--for loving us, providing for us, and guiding us. We are grateful to be Your children, and we want our lives to reflect and glorify You like heaven does.
Today, we especially lift up the young people of MHCC. ...Bless the young adults, teens, and children who are already growing closer to You and to each other, week by week, and already making a difference.
Bless the growing network of adults who are investing in them in so many ways.
Protect them from the relentless onslaught of distractions, distortions, and lies that make it so hard for them to see You or understand Your truth.
And help us to reach those on the margins and those who we have never been able to reach.
Help the parents, youth leaders, and other Christian adults lead by example. Help us to help them become fully devoted, fully equipped, lifelong followers of Jesus.
Help us all forgive each other and ourselves when we fail--so You can forgive us and give us a clean start each day.
