Here's What's Happening...
GLOW always has something going on. Check back to the website regularly to see what sorts of things your child can get involved in. There is a slideshow of events on the Kids page, but this page breaks down each event with more details and information.
If you still have questions, please contact Tracey Bloch
Wednesday, February 8 and 15
GLOW will be watching a Narnia movie on February 8 while the adults are at the Questioning Aslan event in the sanctuary. Our movie will last longer than the adult program, so plan to return on the 15th to finish it!
This movie will also serve as the kickoff to a new Wednesday night series for the GLOW kids. We will spend the following 10 weeks going through The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (a popular C. S. Lewis book, as part of The Chronicles of Narnia series).

Friday - Saturday, February 17-18
GLOW's annual 15 Hour Famine is coming up! Each year, we have a
lock-in event where we go without food for 15 hours to help our kids understand what it feels like to be hungry - a problem that too many children deal with on a regular basis. We play games and learn about World Vision and their efforts to eradicate world hunger. Join us in our efforts. Get involved in this event!
100% of the proceeds from this event go to World Vision.

Our Wednesday night curriculum for GLOW will be focusing on a 10 week study that takes us through The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (a popular children's book by C. S. Lewis).
Each evening will bring us deeper into the book with storytelling, games, Bible and real-life application, and fun activities. This is a really fun way to teach your kids Biblical truth hidden beneath the surface of this fictional tale.

Tracey will be meeting with parents in Kid Central during the Sunday School hour to discuss some changes at the camp and present what her week of Summer Camp will be like. She will answer questions about the camp and create a network of loving parents who will pray for the camp.
This informational meeting is for any parent who is considering sending their kid to camp.
